There is a need of Data Science in almost every field of study in the present world.

Fields where Data Science is being used:

• Risk Reduction and Fraud Detection (for Banks and Financial Organizations)
• HealthCare (by figuring out early stage symptoms of diseases)
• Marketing (By targeting specific population type)
• Augmented Reality
• Speech to Text Conversion
• Image and Voice Recognition
• Advertisements (by analyzing your search history and showing specific ads)
• Recommendations (through your watch history)

So, applications of Data Science are widely spread.

But, does it only take help from Statistics to draw conclusions?

No!!

Depending upon your domain and problem statement, some or the other field is required but not all. It is important for you to decide ahead about the domain you are interested in.

• You can become a pure NLP expert where NLP and Machine learning are two required skills
• For a Statistician, SQL and Statistics are must
• For an AI Expert, Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning are required

So depending upon your domain, you can choose the skills.
